Farming 101

When I'm not blogging, working, or sleeping, I'm probably farming. Virtual farming of course, on Gamecube's Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life. I've gone through many walkthroughs available on the net, and I've managed to compile and summarize all the essentials needed to properly play the game, including a sweet cheat that gives you 99 of most of the items, including seed combinations for hybrid and rare trees, into about 19 pages.

This is my 4th or 5th time playing a Harvest Moon game, and for those of you who have yet to try AWL, you're a girl this time. In my current game, I've been married to the hippie, Gustafa, for about a year now, and our blonde, blue-eyed boy is about 3 seasons old. My farm assets are looking great, with hybrid and rare trees already growing, as well as a vast selection of S-class veggies and fruits ranging from the basics to the unrecognizable rare varieties. This plethora of goods has allowed me to cook most of the recipes for the categories available to me at this time.

AWL is definitely not a game for everyone! Ya gotta love the monotony, and have the extreme geek-ness in you to look forward to the birth of a virtual calf.
